Boiler Construction performed by Lund Machine Works

With the boiler stripped, it was ready for Jeff Lund to take the boiler to his shop so the construction of the new boiler could be started. Here Jeff and Brian Patterson are balancing the old boiler so it can be loaded unto Jeff’s trailer.	Loading the Boiler.
Loaded and secured, ready for transport to New Ulm, MN. Monty Topp and Al Kroneman were on hand to help load as well as Jeff and Brian.

I made a trip up to Jeff Lund to check on the boiler progress today. I found the shell laying outside his shop, seam welded and past inspection	Jeff had the firebox inside. He had it tacked together and was planning to get it welded up on the weekend.
